Well, Kaitlyn did not have a great day. Her night last night was not a good one and now all day today she had various difficulties. She has a multitude of tubes and some are uncomfortable and not cooperating with her movements. Mainly she is in a lot of discomfort which is expected but still doesn't make it much easier to deal with. Ruby has been helping her all day with communicating her needs to the nurses. That being said, please take time to pray for Kaitlyn. Worry about nothing Pray about everything.
At this point she will most likely be in ICU for a few more days unless the Lord intervenes. On a brighter note, she did have some victories today. She sat up in a chair for an hour. They removed the feeding tube that was in her nose and an IV (one of five). There is gradual progress, and Kaitlyn is toughing it out.
Jeremiah 33:6 says "Behold, I will bring health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth".
Let's all stand on that promise from God for Kaitlyn.

Hang in there kiddo. I know it hurts and is uncomfortable, but the nurses and doctors are there to help with things like that. Do your best to relax and let God work on healing your body. We're all here praying for you and we trust in a God that can do ALL things.

Oh, I forgot... if you really want the stuff in your nose again real bad, they'll probably put it back for you.
Maybe our next conversation might be about boogers instead of hairy men ;-)

Ahh Kaitlyn. I'm sorry you are so uncomfortable! I know it just simply stinks to have to deal with all that junk! I wish I could just take all that discomfort for you! But, I can't. So, instead, I'll just pray for God's comfort to envelope you and relax you. Try not to fight it because that just makes it worse. That is our natural tendency and probably slows the progress. Kinda like when God allows us discomfort to grow us and make something better in our life. We fight His plan because it is foriegn to us. And we don't reach His best for us as quickly. I know that's easy for me to see and say... I'm not the one with tubes sticking out of my body! But I have fought Him on stuff in my life.. So, I'm feeling you girl! So... I'll pray without ceasing for you.
