Hello, everyone.

It's Kaitlyn! I'm finally able to sit in a chair and post a blog for myself. A big thank you to Jill for keep up on the blog while I was unable to update you all on my progress. We couldn't have done it without you, Jill! For those of you who have been keeping up with the blogs and leaving comments, I thank you all as well. It was very encouraging to hear from all of you, even on the days I wasn't really up to having visitors. Although I'm still not back to my normal self yet, I thought it would be a good idea to let you all see just a glimpse of all that went on in the hospital. Here are a few pictures of me before and after the surgery, and during my recovery in ICU, the normal patient floor at Shriner's, and back here at home.

It's so good to see that you're doing better! We've worried about you the last few months.

It will be nice three or four months from now when you don't have to worry about your back and you won't have to wear that stupid brace any more!!

We hope you continue to have a speedy recovery!

So good to "SEE" you Kaitlyn! =) I'm glad you are feeling up to sitting for a bit. That must be such a relief to be gaining some strength. You are very brave to endure all this, Katie. I'm proud of you for hanging in there! I look forward to seeing you very soon. Missionettes starts back up on Wednesday nights for the younger girls this week. And testing for all the honor girls started today with Friends and this Wednesday for Stars. Pray for us! =) Keep getting better. We miss you at chuch.

Hugs,

Arla

Okay, I'm a blogger newbee. And my Ashley (teenager) isn't here to help me so hope you get this okay. I'm glad to see that you are home and have so many people to encourage you. I'm sorry that I haven't been by to see you. With my little guy it makes it hard. He'd want to jump right up in your lap :) I sent you a card at the hospital. Hope you got it. Will keep praying for you. Love Mrs. Jen

Hey kiddo, thanks for posting the pictures. I'm so glad you're home and all the reports have been really good. In particular I'm happy to hear that everyone says you have a great attitude. Even though you're having struggles, you're still representing Christ in an excellent way. May you continue to heal, grow and bring glory to God in all things.
Love you bunches.
